Quick Start
Learn the complete Course Creator Studio workflow—from setting up your creator foundation and building lessons to previewing, checking, backing up and delivering a finished learner course.
Unzip it fully to a normal folder on your computer (e.g. Documents or Desktop). Do not try to open the course while it is still inside the compressed ZIP — browsers cannot load it correctly from there.
Click the button below (or double-click the file of the same name next to this one) to open your course in your usual web browser — there is no account, login or install required.
02-quick-start.html→Once you've opened it the first time, keep it in the same folder with the same name. For the most predictable progress storage, keep this folder and course file in the same location and use the progress backup before moving to another browser or computer.
Use Back up progress inside the course before closing your browser for the day, and always before switching computers or browsers. It saves a small file you can re-import with Restore progress.
What actually saves — and what doesn't
- Saves automatically, on this device: completed lessons, quiz answers, bookmarks, notes and where you left off. When browser storage is available, this is stored privately in that browser for this course.
- Does not carry over automatically: switching to a different browser (e.g. Chrome to Safari), a different computer, or a "clean" copy of the course file re-downloaded later. Use Back up progress / Restore progress to move your progress in those cases.
- Can be lost: clearing your browser's history/site data/cache, using a private or incognito window, or an especially strict browser privacy setting. Back up before doing any of these.
- If the page looks blank or broken: try a different, up-to-date browser, and check that browser extensions or strict privacy tools aren't blocking local scripts.
